Comments concerning Pakistani illegal intrusion into Afghanistans territory

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan strongly condemns the recent Pakistani forces of encroaching about three kilometers inside Paktika province's Jajai district, destroying many houses and killing of 13 people, including seven school-age children and seriously wounding over 28 civilians.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is very much against this provocative action. The Government of Afghanistan also asks from the international community to condemn and discourage such actions by the Pakistan government which will, if continued, cause a new era of tension in the relations of these two countries.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is committed to have best possible relations with all members of the international community, in particular its neighbors based on the UN charter and the Good Neighborly Relations.
