President Karzai praised and encouraged Afghan Youth at a ceremony convened by the Culture & Information Ministry to mark International Youth Day.
Addressing Afghan youths at the Amani High School, the President congratulated and encouraged them to work hard and seek knowledge to help the process of reconstruction and development in Afghanistan.
"Afghanistan's progress and prosperity is related to your prosperity and progress. Afghanistan relies on you to help it stand on its own feet", he said.
The President assured the audience upcoming elections will be held in a safe and secure environment, rebuffing contrary claims made by the enemies of Afghanistan and encouraging the youth to participate in the voting process.
