Amanullah Jayhoon presented his credentials as non resident Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to The Governor-General of New Zealand, Hon Anand Satyanand, at a ceremony at Government House in Wellington on 5 December 2007. Mr. Jayhoon was accredited to Australia on the 31st May 2007.
During his official one week visit Ambassador Jayhoon called on the Governor General, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Immigration, Members of the Parliament and other high ranking officials of the Government of New Zealand, In the last days of his official visits Mr. Amanullah Jayhoon also met the heads of the of Afghan communities in Wellington and Auckland cities of New Zealand |
