H.E Dr. Zalmai Rassoul met with Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) General Secretary Mr. Yahya Marufi who is on an official visit to Afghanistan.
The two sides focused and changed views on ECO programs about trade, transportation, energy, agriculture and investments.
ECO aims at providing opportunities for expansion of a stable economy and enhancing welfare of the people, expansion of regional trade and removal of commercial barriers, strive to join regional trade to global trade, enhancement of economic, social, cultural and technical cooperation and development of transportation infrastructure and communications.
